Billy Jazzy Ox

This ox was sold during the online auction.
Artist: Terri & George C. Olexa
Sponsor: Friends of Specialty Coating Systems
Artist's Design Statement
Winning Bid: $2,300
Billy is all jazzed up in his white and black formals bent on spreading joy throughout the Township. We are all familiar with black and white bovine, however, Billy’s DNA takes him a step further by combining three interlocking and distinct black dot patterns in one coat.
The coiffure has done up Billy’s horns and hooves in gold. His 3 inch bushy eyebrows are waxed but he cannot decide on red or gold for his mouth (lips) he will try both and then pick one.
Because Billy is a “jazzy” ox, he can also play the saxophone. He then goes by the stage name BILLY SAX OX.
We added a used saxophone. The sax was painted with several coats of clear finish to protect it from rusting and mounted on a concrete block.
Billy says “Lets party.”
