Cycle Tours
What could be better than spending a beautiful fall afternoon cycling through the spectacular Hopewell Valley? Doing it during the Stampede!
Arts Council friend Laura Lynch of the Princeton FreeWheelers has created five different cycling routes for cyclists of all ages. Find the one that suits you, challenge yourself and do them all, or create your own route.
- Hopewell Loop (4.1 miles)
- Pennington Loop (5.1 miles)
- Western Loop (20.7 miles)
- Some of the Stampede (35.4 miles)
- Most of the Stampede (45.7 miles)
- Design your own ride using our Ox Map
Walking Tours
The Hopewell Loop and Pennington Loop are perfect for walking as well as riding! Hook the leash on the dog, put the baby in the stroller, and visit one of Hopewell Valley’s fabulous boroughs for a walk about town. Stop in at the many shops and restaurants as you wind your way through each town’s streets searching for oxen. Don’t forget your map and Scavenger Hunt!
