The Pennington Business and Professional Association supports the Hopewell Valley Arts Council because our members believe that bringing Art to the people, in all its forms, has a direct and positive effect on the vitality of a community. Art matters and when it is valued, shared and made accessible to everyone, it enriches the quality of life in that community in some very meaningful ways. Art stirs the imagination, inspires creativity, sparks innovation and brings together people with diverse backgrounds for a common purpose. It is also a catalyst for economic growth, in that it transforms the cultural rhythm of a town, influencing how it is perceived, which, in turn, has a positive effect on real estate, employment, tourism and local business.
The Hopewell Valley Arts Council understands and appreciates both the intrinsic value, and the tangible, economic benefits that result when the arts are embraced, supported and become an integral part of community life.
